5,000ft elevation

    anyone care to guess whether a carbed bike jetted for 5k, will need a rejet for sea level? he "says" its a little rich at 5k. thanks to all who reply.

    A little rich at 5000 feet should be perfect for sea level based on my experimentation. Temperature could be another variable.


    You did not specify the bike, or even 2st/4st so it would be a little tough for me to make further comments.

    Like Coffee says, slightly rich at sea 5000' is probably just about right at sea level. That being said though , I can run my bike from the ocean to Big Bear (5800') and have very little difference in performance.
