430 reed boxes?.

Was there ever a rectangular reed box on a 430? Like the 250/500 have. Bill

only on liquid cooled ones. all 250 and up were.

I can't remember if I had a 430 cr cylinder in my parts supply with a rectangle reed box. I just purchased a engine for my silver streak project and the cylinder measures 85.87 in the picture, rectangle port, 10 cooling fins that's a 500cc but the bore size got me.

We have to get these parts when we see them.

Justin your right 10 fins 500cc, 9 fins 390/420/430 ac. The 500cc silver streak has always been my dream bike.

Some of this stuff can be easily resolved by looking at the parts sheets sometimes called ipl illustrated parts list. These are easily downloaded from various sources and most likely purchased on disc off ebay.
