    Hi Cafe Crew.

    Apologies for a mundane question.

Looking at what appears to be a very well looked after 2011 TE630. Its on its second owner, but that guy has only done 600kms in a couple of years. Original owner from new did 36,000kms and apparently was an older gent with the finance and responsibility that entails. The bike looks great, all the paint, body work and engine cases look excellent

    Power up kit fitted new
Clutch 'replaced' when new due to 'known issues' (?) with this model
    Reinforced subframe from new
Many nice farkles (pegs, tank, screen etc) plus all the original OEM parts.

Will be bought sight unseen as I am away for work, but it apparently runs beautifully, starts first push, no known issues to speak of.

My question is - is a well looked after TE630 with 36,000kms too risky of a proposition or is that not an issue - also considering im likely to double that millage in a couple of years...

Im from BMW land, with one of my bikes having almost 300,000kms and the other 110,000kms. Im not afraid of high kms per se - but it is always model (and maintenance, but predominantly model) specific.

Thanks very much - looking forward to joining the brethren.

What do you think? I have a 630 and a 250, both on full knobblies. The 630 is really nice at road speeds, but you feel the weight off road when doing slow stuff. I guess the 510 is more like an overpowered 250, much more comfortable off road. DS or road legal dirt bike?

I know George Erl always liked the 610 over the 630.
