• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

We have some new stuff in, will get up on the web this weekend.

1.We have a nice selection of 2010 plastic with the embeded graphics in stock.

2. We got a small pile of the hardparts 4st heat shields

3. Blingy red ano oil fill caps.

Nothing super exciting but nice stuff.

Oil caps, What...? We ordered a pair of those 3/15/10, showing stock in NA. We get the call 3/31/10 our (CA) Husky dealers order is in (our parts supposed to be in the shipment) BUT they did not receive their whole special parts order, ie, our paid for caps?

How did you guys in WA get them?

We have piles of Hardparts stuff on back order. when they come in they ship us a few. Always partial orders and stuff missing. It's a crap shoot. We put those caps on order months ago so we were ahead of you on the list i guess.
 
Hey Kelly, you should put a link to Motosportz website at the bottom of you posts so we can go straight to your site and have a look if we want.

Edit- I just saw the banner at the top of the page which is easy. Is it always there?

Also can you put a pic of the pipe gaurd fitted to a bike at some stage, i think it would look good.

I guess I could have come off wrong in my post. I was just anxious to be getting the bling and it didn't happen. Good to know you guys have the goods.

Just saw this post and need a heat shield. Do you still have these Husky ones? Your web site says they are out of stock.

Paul we do have a few of the Husky heat shields in stock, just not very many. :cheers: mike.
