did a loop close to home, about 90% open, but still has snow and some downed trees
but, good fun and a 20 mile loop for afternoon fun
best part is the trail system is very local
but I did have a little altercation with a manzanita

i was cleaning my bike and noticed I did a pretty good number on the pipe
I know when it happened, front wheel deflected off a rock and sent me towards a log, yes I clipped it but was surprized at the damage

this is north of Truckee, in the northwest area of Sierra Valley at about 5000-6000'
on my "first ride" post that area is close to you, just over the top of 88
