    I’m sure this topic has been covered many times, but hoping someone can help;

    Servicing the XPLOR 48 forks on a 2017 Husqvarna FE450. There was one white plastic spring spacer below the spring on the right fork tube, but does not appear to be one on the left fork spring (Left and right being from riders POV. Left side = brake disc side.) Is this normal? Cause for concern? I’m certain this is the first time the forks have been opened up.

    Also changing fork springs to a heavier spring, these new springs from Slavens are EVER so slightly longer than the OEM springs. How crucial is spring length and proper spacers etc? They are VERY close.

    Lastly, on the ‘17 could a guy get away w/ simply adding the book stated volume (600ml) of oil and not bothering w/ the air gap step? In fact the ‘17 manual doesn’t mention air gap, simply oil volume.

    Thank you!!!
