FE/FC 2017 FX 350 shift lever play

    I've noticed after adjusting my shift lever and torqued it to factory specs that I have play IN and OUT. Not up and down.

    When I grab the lever with my hand and pull and push from the fastener point the whole lever moves in and out of the case approx 3/16.

    I've never had or noticed this on other bikes I've owned.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    thats the shift shaft play (though 3/16" seems like alot) my fc/350xcf and fx all do that. even my bmw streetbike has some play in and out
