they are calling the 125 a TX model but its a full enduro setup bike because in EU TE means street legal per FIM enduro specs, 125s do not pass the euro 4 spec so they named them TX models even though they have the full enduro set up treatment (lites, etc.) Simo Kirssi is the WP Rep. that guy rips, he was doing regional enduros at the Nat level on the BMW twin for a while.
Here's some interesting reading. Yes it's the KTM launch, but, well, you know. Basically the same. Good on you Aussies for spreading the word! ttps://transmoto.com.au/ride-impression-2017-ktm-exc-range/
And here's some Husky feedback from Sweden by Dirt Bike, not as much info, but it's like JA! http://dirtbikemagazine.com/home-features/first-ride-husky-off-road-21017
The 250 two stroke has a dampening clutch and now counter balance shaft. Has anything else besides a rotax had a counterbalancer in this class of engine? The hour service interval was not specified for the two stroke but something like 140 hours for the four cycle. Not sure what to make of that. My ktm 200 had a 75 hour service interval and has yet to fail since 2004 at least the way I use it.
"Despite location and ownership changes, there has never been a break in production from 1903 to present, making Husqvarna the oldest continuously manufactured motorcycle brand in the world, beating Harley Davidson by a scant six months." This may be false. I bought a 2004 bike, titled that way but the frame is stamped 2002. Wasn't there some flood in 2003?
Yes there was a flood at one of the factories (they had 2 then) but they still produced motorcycles just very few were imported to the US. There were no 1997 models imported to the US as well but they were still sold around the world.
