Hi There, I just bought a Trailtech Vapor for my 2013 WR125 and am struggling to find 12V DC anywhere, the old dash seems to run off 3V DC and I can find 3 or 4 V DC at numerous points but not 12V DC, does this bike not run on 12 Volts?

I use the Trail Tech Endurance 2. It was designed for dirt bikes with AC or no AC winding on the stator. It runs off a 2032 battery that is housed in the back of the unit. I have the Endurance 2 on both my WR 125, WR 300, as well as an old KDX 200.

You can modify the stator and add a proper R/R to get 12v DC if you are handy and have a want to do so. I have my WR177 set up this way with a small lithium battery I was using to run lights/gps/whatnot since it is technically street legal.

The process is called 'floating the ground'.
