  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

new 2013 te 310 exhaust question to all you gurus.... I need to know
if I can put an after market full exhaust on it ...because of the o2 sensor
what do you do with the 02 sensor plug

the 2008/9/10/11/12 te 250 /310 s are the same 2 wire plug all Years are interchangeable
2013 te have a 4 wire plug
the power up resistor from my 2011 te 310 will not work
im a plug and play guy .I wouldn't no how to make a resistor thing

you definitely can't just unplug it as the ECU will flash the FI warning light at you, I'm actually waiting to hear what the real "power-up" procedure is on the TE310R myself as it's a bit different then the Mikuni bikes and no technical service bulletins from HSQ NA on the subject, browsed to the repair manual and didn't see anything there either.

I was looking at my 2011 resistor and the o2 sensor, they have the same colour wires as my 2013 te 310r
and are 4 wires ,the resistor plug only uses 2 wires out of the 4 wires
just thinking adapt the resistor plug to the 310 r . 2011 plug is square ,
and the 2013 plug is flat.

Totally different efi/ecu, so my bet is a simple resistor will not do squat, there is a separate coding plug for the Keihin efi required, as on the 449/511 or g450x,... But what or what is the plug needed I'm not sure as I've only had one TE310R through the shop, the TXC310R's are ready to ready without any plugs

In special parts catalog there seems to be a controller for some of these 2013 bikes, like a Power Commander.

but it still seems like you have to deal with that O2 sensor wire.

The only way to fully de-restrict the 2013 TE310R is to have the dealer use the Husqvarna Service Tool (HST for short) to upload an unrestricted map into the ecu, or you could buy the fancy GET ecu in the 2013 HSQ catalog, however i'm not sure what abilities one would have programming/tuning-wise with that system.
