Hello Good folks of CH. Has anybody done this mod? Would I be able to achieve the no stumble/hesitation and better pull down low? I'm realistic on this one in rgards to this bike not being a lugger to begin with. Seeing as the TE models upgrade to 2012 TXC ecu, would keeping my 2011 TXC ecu achieve same result? Lambda sensor is removed so it's in race mode.
    TIA again.

From what ive been reading, I beleive I don't the 12 Port.
Mine is a 2011 and comes with the yellow green injector and not the dark green ones I've seen around here.

    Yellow is a 4pt injector.

    My 2010 TE250 with the 4pt runs just fine...even compared to my 2012 TXC310 with a 12 pt.

Not as snappy, but never stalls or flames out like the TXC does sometimes....puts the power down a bit better too.

Tnx for all the replies. Here's what im thinking. If I could just just buy the 12 port injector to save some moolah, remove catalytic converter and remove air filter screen would I accomplish same results as buying the ECU and injector combo from husky?

If you're going to do one, it wouldn't hurt to do the other. You might check with Tinken/ZipTy if they can OR if you need to reflash your ECU.

Was supposed to be an 8% power upgrade throughout the power curve for the '12 models wasn't it?

Power is about the same I think...just more snappy delivery...more like a 2 stroke.
