Tech 3, thank you so much for your attention. My english isnt very good but I can understand and try to write. So, my idea is use the bike most in the dirt, then I want to make a TE that I can put the SM wheels some times. You guys should be asking, why dont you get a TE?!?! Thats because in Brazil, TE are the most sought, then the price is higher, the bikes condition are worst, are used in extreme trails and most has no license plate, used only for competition. Instead, the SMR are less used, have lower price, good conditions, you can find them easily with about 2000 miles, and all them has license plate. Im looking for a 2007 or 2008. I need your help to solve this problems because here in Brazil we have just few Huskys. Excuse my little english. Thanks!

    Raphael I understand completely
try to find a 2007 SMR and you can use the regular dirt rims 18 rear 21 front
the rear swing arm is longer on the 07-08 than on the 09 10 they are shorter
the 07 also has a carb this is good being where you are, then you can switch
back and forth from Sumo to dirt or just sell your SUMO wheels and get some money back
to pay for your dirt wheel set up
after you get that far you can set up the suspension more like a TE or even better
any thing else i can help with let me know

cool thanks for the info im going to get all my stuff together and try my hand at the first oil change....im thinking of getting the oil bolt kit from 7602 racing they convert all of them to 14mm. for bikes that need alot of oil changes.

Nice, the 2008 Im looking is carb too. Maybe in Brazil we are 1 year later in the imports, as usual.

Now, I have to know what will I need to setup the new dirt wheels.

    Things I will need:

    - Front and Rear Husqvarna Hub (Would be great if I could fit from another brand)
    - 2x Spokes
    - 18 rear rim
    - 21 front rim
    - Rotor (brake disc) Should I get the dirt size or SM size? I think if I take the dirt size I have to change "the thing that hold the caliper" because is bigger on SM.
    - Kickstand

    Remember anything else?

raphael, you would think in brazil where it is always nice and warm there would be alot more motards on the streets are there alot of riding trails?

Yes, we have a lot of trails but in big cities like Sao Paulo they buy SM to ride in streets, thats why you can find SM´s easily. But I have not heard about SM´s on trail, this is the difficult for me, to have ideas to do it.

they make semi agressive street/dirt tires for the sm that might be good for light trail riding, will you only be riding where you need a real offroad tire.

Is not the front rotor too big to go off road? Wont they bend on rocks?

Yes they will but so will the smaller rotor
the only other thing you can do is get a set of te forks and caliber
now you are starting to get into the bucks
Run the sumo front rotor and be careful, I know of more than a few
dirt bikes that upgrade to a 320mm rotor.

The guy from ThumperTalk wants U$450 plus shipping in the wheels without the tires. I guess is too much...

Thanks so much for the big help and now I'll be part of the brotherhood :)
