My buddy just picked up a decent 07 te450 for $1500! She runs great. He bought new plastics for it but ran into an issue with the rear fender. The replacement fender has no provision for the electronic module that sits in the recess of the stock fender? What exactly is th a that module for? Looks like a fuel injectoin ecu but bike is carbureted? He says the bike fires up without it???

Husky imported about 50 Euro spec 2007 TE 450s that had some funny stuff on them. It sound like he got one of them. There was a proper way to delete the stuff, I just do not recall how it was done.

Would need a picture. But maybe the "module" is a relay or something similar for lights on the bike? Maybe it had turn signals at some point and thats a flasher relay?

I will get a pic next time i see the bike. It looks like a fuel ecu ig has 4 small posts on bottom that push into 4 holes in the rear fender just behind the battery. The fender has a recess for it to fit
