great organization from ZR promo in this case, fun yes, safe yes, passport yes, don't carry fuel buy it at Pemex. expect a 1/2 hour time diff for the race start take the toll road to el hongo or take the free road east from tecate to the ojos negros turn off and take the dirt road all the way to rancho santa veronica and follow the signs to the race location.
ZR asked me today if we should start at 0700 to beat the heat....I said for me yes but some folks are driving longer, I think he will stick with 0800
This thing is shaping up to be memorable race. this weekend's trail ride is a warmup exercise practice test in the same local area.
