In the past, & only for a short time, i did own a 1984 400WR, a bike, i was always amazed of how, it put down the power, and just felt right. Should have kept it, but an offer was too good, so she was gone before i really ever had a chance to ride it much.

Owned a 86 400 Enduro for many years, a great wood bike, but I always thought the bike was a bit too tall , but I learned to live with it.

Well as i already posted recently, a clean 85 250XC, came my way, so i grabbed it. Then the following week, though, i really was looking for another bike, along came a of all things, a 84 400WR. I actually did hesitate , contacting the seller, i just bought a bike right?

Low & behold, the seller was i another Husky guy, i'd met 15 years before, so of course, he's like when are you coming to get it.

In between snow storms, i did get about an hour to clean her up a bit more.

I'll post more pics & details soon

Details are guy i bought it from, got it from an old friend in 2015, motor was locked up from sitting. He the took the motor out and sent it to Rick Horvat, for a full rebuild. He also sent suspension to Vintage Husky, for a full rebuild as well & yellow shock springs. Somewhere
soon after that he put new tires/tubes, chain/sprockets, cables, rode it a few times, then it sat in his Shop for a few years.

Bike is really clean, He was meticulous in everything he does, he restores 1900's cars in he's spare time.

SO real soon, i'll changed the fluids & fire her back up, should be NO big deal as he drained the carb & only used VP race fuels anyway.
