1983 wr 250 gearbox oil?

    I was wondering if there are better oils now for my 83 gearbox instead of the SAE 20 per the manual?

    You'll get various responses to this question, so just my opinion here. I have been running automatic transmission fluid "Type F" in my Huskys for years, including my 1983 500CR. Clutch works really well with type F, but not so well with other ATFs.
