    Can anyone tell me why there is no listing for a 1983 430 piston, seems they are all for 1984-1988? also looking for where to get a gasket set in Australia

    The air cooled 430 piston was the same as the 420 one. The water cooled 430 piston appears to be from the same blank machined differently.

    Different lists (vague, no definition of list) may call replacement parts suitable for different models and years.
