    I need to know the OEM chain size and length for 1982 WR250 ?

    520 x120 links and cut it to your size.

    Do not use an O ring chain. They suck the power out of a 250.

    my 250s run fine with em. there is a very slight drag to an oring chain but many people cannot tell the difference. no more difference than a heavier or lighter rear tire.

    This was true when o-ring chains first came out but it is no longer true, especially with the "X" ring chains.

    Agreed, go with the x ring chain D.I.D. makes a narrow one that works and looks good too.

    i have run the tsubaki omega oring chains for a quite awhile and they seem to fit ok as well....i know some brands will not fit on the single shock bikes well either. not much room around the countershaft on any of the 80s bikes.

    I even run an O-ring on my '72 Penton 100 which has about 17HP.
