I've had this 390 forever (since 2006), when i bought her as a real turd. I rebuilt her, but lately she was sort of pushed in the corner & cover up, not raced since 2015 & getting a little tired (ok you could turn it over by hand). Since my 430CR gotten all the duty for a while, i thought i'd finally
getting her back to good health. Actually thought of selling her, but thank god, i didn't, knowing
i'd likely never find another one.

Thanks to a fellow Cafehusky member , i got a nice used complete 420 top end winter of 2020. While i was slowly working on her since then (rebuilding suspension), I finally got to getting around to top end.

While, i had the top end off, i decided to replace the partly dented pipe (with a broken frame mount), with really nice one i found on Ebay, even though it's from a 80 390WR. But in reality from the outside other then the heat shield & 2 rear tabs for silencer, i could not see any differences between this WR pipe & the CR it had on it.
