Greetings. Trying to bring a 1977 cr 125 back to life. I'm having a hard time finding the rubber pieces to fit the bing carb that's stock on the bike, I've got pieces that will fit a mikuni. Does anybody have any info on swapping the carbs that they could share ( size of mkuni, jetting)? Any info on where to find the bing rubber pieces? Thanks.

Thanks. I think I have a lead on the boot (airbox to carb) for my bing, still looking for the manifold portion. Or I guess I could try to make something out a piece of hose or something.

I am going to use some ani 28 ss hose from Summit racing for a 34 Mikuni carb off a 1981 125 cr on my 1977 125 cr.

Anyone used a 34 Lectron carburetor on this bike? I have one that is weather damaged and i am trying to refurbish it. BUT, I am also looking for the stock carburetor....you guys are saying the stock was a Bing?

My 125's all three had mikuni carbs they were two '85 & one '86 bikes. I think they were 36mm or 38mm carbs.

the 1977 125 huskies were fitted with Mikuni carbs as standard in Europe. We tried a flat side Lectron on my bikes back in the day, but nothing came close to working as well as the Mikuni.

I tried 36mm and 38mm Mikuni VM series carbs on both my 77 Husky 125CR and years later again on my current 78 Husky125CR and in both instances went back to the Bing. Both times the Mikunis were well sorted out. The problem was the severe angle the carbs are mounted on the 77/78 125's required the fuel level to be set much lower than normal to keep the fuel from spilling out the pilot outlet port during hard braking or going down steep down hill sections of the track. The Bing handled this much better.
