    I thought I would add this for the record. Never knew this motoplat procedure.
    Thanks to Vance
    Take out the timing key. Taper will do the holding. Move the stator to center of slots. Put piston to BTDC spec. Put flywheel on using pin and into corresponding hole in the stator without moving crank. Tap flywheel to seat and tighten. Recheck timing.
