125 rod kit

I recently acquired this 81 125 cr, nice and fairly original.
Nicely ported barrel. No base base gasket , just silicon!!
The rod is on its last legs
Where can I find a new rod or is there something else I can use or modify? I can get the crank halves bored for a bigger pin etc.

Good luck! I was looking myself. Looks like they opened up the transfer ports into the intake.I was looking at la sleeve catalog.They listed one that was close and maybe useable with a base plate,but did not stock it. Really couldn't care less about old bikes.

You could try http://www.woessner-kolben.de/en/start/ down load the catalog at least its a starting point.

Euro Rods used to have them, but no one has any now.
