Shameless Plug! Come on out and race The Big One! The course has been spot ribboned over these last two weekends and next weekend we dress it all up and get er ready. This is the last round of the series and with the last minute cancellation of round 7, there's sure to be some good racing to settle the championship.

Heading out tomorrow to work weekend. Here's a teaser from our Presidenté from the NHHA press release. "Hello National Hare and Hound fans. This is Tommy Russell, President of the 100's MC to give you an insight of our race October 23rd in Johnson Valley, California. Back by popular demand is our world famous reverse bomb run. It will be in place so your family and loved ones can observe the hole-shot without leaving the pits. To keep with our 'western' theme this year, loop one has been titled "Pony Express". You'll be dancing within the rocks with open prairies to over take your competition. Loop two, titled "Stampede", is a combination of single track, box canyons and a dash of open prairies. Loop three titled, "Badlands", is 15 miles of single track, double checks followed up with a memorable downhill ride to the finish!"
LET"S GO ALL YOU BLINGED OUT HUSKY HI DOLLAR SUSPENDED, JETTING/F.I. EXPERT POSERS.......(dig dig) Sign up and go for an exciting desert trail ride adventure. http://100smc.org/race-information/
Im stoked for this one we did 70 mi 2 weeks ago and 50 miles this past weekend of single track......I think Im ok for the 100s..... truth is not enough open the lungs bicycle riding this year that goes for Tecate enduro prep as well
First loop is a good warm up. Lots of wide open sections to get your mind dialed for the 2nd loop. Then, well it's a 100's race, so you know what's in store on loop 3. I'm heading out for a five day desert escape Thursday with a race thrown in for good measure.
Things are looking good here at the race. The Cafe is representing well. Three of us on site and one or more coming tonight.
Its SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY! I'm up at o dark thirty to get ready to go open the course. Thank goodness for coffee!
Brilliant tough race again. Mr. John Kearney beat me by one spot!! 6 vs 7, 61OA to 66OA the SSEN former # 1 really did me in on the last loop. All good I'm very satisfied. 2nd loop had some never ending ugly climbs and 3rd loop was extreme in alot of sections!! the 300 is such a good tool for these events. http://www.moto-tally.com/nhha/results.aspx/2016/8/C17/LT John WTH Dang O Hara kicked our ass on L3
this event---"not for pussies" my quote... PS JK called me something isnt right with Mr. Os time on L3
Thanks for the review Robert. We are hanging by the fire after a looong satisfying day. Thanks to all you Cafe guys who came to race our race.
I had a really good time last weekend. Got to meet Huskynoobie and run a short loop with AjaxAuto. I got into camp late on Friday night and got a spot tucked into the end of pit row which happened to be right next to my MTB hero Aaron Gwin (who also ran the course on his KTM 450 and got 13OA!). I aint gonna lie the course was a tough one. 3rd loop was one of the hardest ive ever raced. But then again Quinn Cody did it on his KTM 1190r!@%$&*!@#$%!&#*!
I bought 2 from Grumpy. I think 1st is better, 2nd is my tank ass compressing the suspension into submission (almost)
