    Folks,

Finally got to take my bike out on some nice single track and I need to get a tall seat for it. I've already reached out to Seat Concepts and they do not offer one nor will they make a custom one for me.

    So any other recommendations?

    Thanks,

    Chuck

How tall are you? I’m 6’ and feel short trying to swing a leg over my TE510.

I don't remember about the big blocks (My friend sold his 450 years ago) but the big problem for me (6'1") on my xlite is/was the footpeg-to-seat distance. So cut the peg boss's off and re-weld it on top (also switch the springs right & left) to lower the pegs about 10mm- moves them back about 10mm also- which makes a noticeable difference. Do a search for a complete description of the procedure.

BTW, this also helped with my untended upshifts (size 14 boots).

IIRC, seats are the same for the TE/TC/TXC 2008-2014 Italians, so if you find a tall 2010 seat (for example) there you go.
