What Model/Year Honda crosses over to the Marzocchi fork protectors? It appears that an 09 Cr450 will work? Looks like you have to get a front brake line clamp?

Would like to go White or Red?

    Thanx!

Last night I got my new 09 Honda CRF450 fork protectors from UFO. I'm still waiting on the brake clamps from my local Honda Shop. I installed them and I think they look real sharp. They bolted right up and fit perfect. Dave @ UFO said that the red doesn't match and is way too light in color. They held them against the Husky shrouds while I was on the phone. Thanx for the tip on these and they look sweet!

The only reason I knew they fit is because we bought 50mm Shivers for our CRF, and I knew that whatever bike the forks were for, they came with Honda fork guards! Probably for the fact they havent changed the design since like 1994!

The only issue you may have, is the brake clamp. Looking at our husky front hose, from memory it looks slightly smaller than the Honda brake hose. The honda hose is nissin whereas husky is brembo. Easy fix would just cut a small part of black hose, slip it over the brake hose and then in the clamp.

Let us know how it fits.

Just finished the job last night. The brake hose clamp is designed to clamp (Pinch)the plastic bracket on the protectors. If you go through the bolt bins at the cycle shops. Choose two bolts that have the built in spacers to fit tight thru the plastic holes so that you can mount the clamp towards the wheel side. The clamp now holds the line tight with no mods.

Will post pic first of week.

    The white really look sharp!

You've got it wrong, you need the specific bolts coz the clamp goes to one side of the plastic lug and the bolt goes through.

    Heres the pic;

    Great,

I have it right then because that is the way I did it.

It clamped fine on the brake line. Was not loose at all.

really? why 2007 onwards? 2004-2007 ktm guards are identical (and interchangeable with 2008+ guards.

I might be tempted to put some ktm guards on since they cover alot more. Makes them harder to clean if you ride in mud alot, but provides significantly better protection from rock dings. I've had to fix a few of those over the last few years.

Yeh I guess pre 07 will fit too. Only reason I said 07 onwards was because I've seen a few people with the 07 ones on Honda

Try 06 tc450 husky stock fork guards they rap around the sides. You will need that brake line clamp too.

I think Im gonna try to find some light speed carbon ones.
(they are way cheaper for a CR than Husky specific carbon fiber from other brands)
