Interesting and confusing at the same time. Looks like a KTM. Need to cover that pipe some. I like it so far but wish it was styled a little more husky and less KTM. I'm sure it will rule. Full frame bigger...
Wow that looks pretty compact with the engine tilt etc. Interesting concept to have the linkage above the swing arm, might need a little less attention/maitenance. Definately looks like the fuel tank is burried down low-the seat looks well set for sliding back and forth. Looking forward hearing and seeing more. I wonder if they have attended to the side stand?
Hmmm. Shows some promise. Obviously, there's no place to put fuel in at the usual location, so maybe it's the same as BMW's current 450 abortion where you have to tear the seat apart to put gas in. Hopefully they'll grow some brains and put a conventional gas cap on it. I like the overall concept.
Is it me or is the shrouds and side # plate all one piece? Black so tough to see a seam...hope not....could get as pricey as the KTM fender # plate all one piece BS Looks like rebound for shock on rear has Ohlns type turn it kurled/adjuster. Bout damn time after the slotscrew that is hidden by the linkage and you need a fat lady pit crew friend to sit on it to see it and adjust it!
Looks like it's built with spare parts from different bikes... oh!... but wait... I just noticed that it is built from left over parts ! All joking a side, this bike does nothing to me. I'm glad, I won't be pressured into trading next year. The yz450 and even the 350sx are tons more attractive IMO. Maybe new TC450 will be cheaper retail. It will need to be by a lot.
if my Dutch serves me decent, former world champ Bartolini is the rider (has been with Husky for a while now), electronic fuel injection, hyd clutch, Kayaba suspension, estart, Akrapovic exhaust, and what appears to be linkless like the BMW enduro PDS???
The linkage is on top of the swingarm. Apparently Husq engineers have found 8hp in the BMW motor by re-working the head.
Can you guys se the conection in design with the olde 570 models. I am thinking about th sidepanles on the fueltank for an exampel. And i can not see any conection wth KTM design at all. Maybe that it have two wheels also. I hope Husqvarna and BMW still is seperate brands. It looks that way. There isn´t much Husqvarna in this bike. But im pretty sure that Husqvarna have helped BMW a lot Klas Klas
